Hello everyone,

I am happy to present my latest work.
I have been working on this quite a while, and finally found some time now to finish it. I didn't have a real concept when starting this only the rough idea of cliffs and ocean, the rest evolved during the work.
At this point i also want to thank all who gave me ideas and feedback for this picture.

I used Maya, ZBrush for the displacement/normal maps and Photoshop for textures + postproduction. Rendering was done with Mental Ray

The Sky is made out of two 3D-fluids + quite a bit Photoshop rework, also the foam is painted in ps since i wasn't able to get the wanted result within Maya.
Beside that i did some Colour and Brightness adjustments and composing in Photoshop, the rest is all made in Maya.
For more details you can also take a look at my WIP-thread:
http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=43&t=795483&highlight=isle+storm

thanks for viewing! i hope you like it
and please give me feedback and critique

Paris 2048

Hello everyone, this is my latest work.

I started modelling the Eiffel-tower as a training for myself and afterwards felt like creating a interesting environment for it.
The scene takes places in year 2048 and shows a part of the decayed Paris with the Eiffel Tower still standing out of the ruins.
I have an idea for the "story" behind it, but rather want you to interpret it in you re own way.

The modelling and texturing was done in Maya.
Lightning is done with mr Sun and Sky and usage of Importons+ Irrdiance Particles and Ambient Occlusion.
Rendering is done with Mental Ray, except the clouds and Grass which is partly rendered with Maya software.
The light rays, shoreline and fog are made with Photoshop, as well as composing and post production.

Look at my Portfolio for a wireframe image of the scene and tower.

I hope you like the it

Critique and comments are most welcome.
Thank You
